24, I added another penny to my collection. 25, I exchange my loose change for a pretty quarter.
It’s a definite milestone. The penny pile gets a little chunky, so I change every five for a nickel and every two for a dime. Now, they’re traded in for something new. No clinking or clanking–a single, sizable coin.
“A penny saved is a penny earned”, the adage goes.
We save pennies, as we accumulate life experiences. They’re saved to be spent on something greater. Define greater as you will; but with every year, I have more wisdom to direct my choices and pull me up from my hardships. Be intentional with the new coin you procure each year. Even the dirty ones hold value and can add up to become something new.
